Travelogue #1

I have not found out a way to do a multiple address with my on the road E-mail so until I do I am going to send most of

the messages to my friend Ole, N0ABE in SF and he will forward them. You may reply direct to me at w0sd@winlink.org.

By all means don't feel like you need to reply to each message as it will snow me under on the end.

PLEASE, PLEASE when you do a reply or send me an E-mail erase EVERYTHING BUT THE MESSAGE TO ME. I am getting the same

message I sent 5 or 6 times because you are clicking on reply and not deleting the other text! It is just a disaster on

this end trying to connect that long to down load all that! PLEASE JUST THE MESSAGE TO ME! THANK YOU!

We were on the Laird HWY today in NWT and it was gravel and terrible. The 5th is mud all over. We stayed at Blackstone

Provincial park last night. We got on the ALCAN about 6 pm today central time where the Laird Hwy comes in. It was

awesome, huge mountains. Lots of great pictures. The hwy was pretty low traffic as most people were parked for the night.

We are at Laird Hot Springs and will go in the 100 - 120 degree water in the morning and then on the Watson Lake. We are

staying in a nice clearling by the Laird River Lodge, they let RVers park free. There are only about 7 of us in the yard.

We have been getting by with just the two batteries in the 5th wheel without hooking up the battery bank. I hope to

operate Field Day this week end in either the Yukon or NWT. Today was the best day of scenery by far!

BTW IT DOES NOT GET DARK AT NIGHT AT ALL! STAYS MUCH LIGHTER ALL NIGHT THAN I EVERY DREAMED!

RETIREMENT IS THE GREATEST!
